Fundraiser at Morello’s YIG raises $7,500 for LLSC

Over the May long weekend, the annual Peterborough Cares event took place in various places across that city.
Locals 175 & 633 Members and staff were on hand at Morello’s YIG raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
Members Marc Duquette and Ted Dawes from Minute Maid were a huge help throughout the weekend volunteering their time to cook and serve food, and collect donations.
Fundraisers included a car wash, BBQ, silent auction, Krispy Kreme sales, and collecting donations at the door. Thank you to the Peterborough community and Morello’s YIG customers for your generosity. Our weekend event raised $7,500.
