Marie Deschamps retires

On June 16, 2017, Marie Claire Deschamps retired from her position at Prince Foods in Cornwall.

Marie started working for Canlyte in March 1993. After Philips purchased that company, they closed its doors in 2015. In fact, Marie’s last day there was at the end of March of that year. She had been at the company for 22 years at that point and had hoped to retire from there as well. But in April 2015, Marie began her job at Olymel/Prince Foods, where she worked until June of this year.

In her retirement, Marie hopes to get fit and enjoy her time at the campsite over the summer. Her daughter-in-law is expecting twins in September 2017, and Marie cannot wait to help her out with the babies. This winter, Marie will head to Florida. In addition, Marie says she might consider buying a cottage and she looks forward to doing some travelling.
