Gary Campbell retired from Ball Packaging after working for 35 years. Gary says he is enjoying retirement and spends his days woodworking and touring on his motorcycle.
Michael Cullen who retired on August 30, 2019 from Unilever in Simcoe began his career at the Norfolk Street location in 1978 before transferring to the plant current location on Union Street. Michael worked in the General Labour department and is looking forward to spending time pursuing his love of photography.
Cindy Hoover retired on August 30, 2019 after working at Unilever since 1990. Cindy also started at the Norfolk Street location before she transferring to the Union street location in 1996. Cindy worked in the light labour department and plans on spending her retirement years volunteering and working with animal rescue organizations.
Christine Howes (l) retired on February 22, 2019 from Unilever in Simcoe after 31 years. Christine started with the Company on June 27, 1988. Christine worked in the light labour department and now that she is retired she says she “can do whatever she wants whenever she wants”. Christine recently went on vacation out east to Nova Scotia and is looking forward to spending more time with family traveling.
Betty Reynolds (r) retired on May 31, 2019 after 22 years with Unilever in Simcoe. Betty worked in the light labour department and is looking forward to her retirement years where she can continue to spend time with her 5 grandchildren. Betty will also be spending her time in the garden, going for walks and traveling with her family. She is planning to go to the east coast in the fall.
Judith Little retired from Molsons Coors Brewery on August 1st after working for the company since July 1996.
Renzo Noble began his career at A&P at Warden & Lawrence in September 1978. He became a meat manager in 1983 and then also became a Union Steward in 1990. He says he was happy to help his fellow co-workers in all Union issues. Renzo sat on four sets of Negotiations with A&P and Metro and also took all the courses the Union had to offer. Renzo is looking forward to doing what he loves in retirement, fishing and hunting. Renzo is retiring from Metro in Whitby.
Darrel Roddick retired from Ball Packaging on July 29, 2019 after 47 years of service. Darrel worked as an operator mechanic at the plant. He says he loves being retired and spends his days gardening and working on his yard.
